We’re very light on tools at this stage, maybe a space for us to improve. We just give some instructions like, ‘hear from everyone’, ‘make sure you understand the challenge’, ‘share relevant experiences’, etc.

“Collaboration patterns” is my answer to the frequently asked questions of decentralised organising. All kinds of decentralised groups seem to hit the same set of cultural and structural bottlenecks (e.g. hidden power dynamics, information overload, etc). So in the ‘presentation’ stage of the workshop I name 8 of these patterns, coupled with solutions we’ve picked up along the way.
